An addition to the LS collection is this nest of three bowels commissioned by Elise Short from Council of Objects. Made specifically for the SET Exhibition in 2014, a conscious philosophy and approach was put towards waste minimisation. To address the by-product of the production process, Lex constantly sought out alternative uses for the natural resource that he had not yet fully utilised. He found it very easy to accumulate an abundance of short lengths with no immediate intended purpose. As a result of squireling these gems away for many seasons, an army of turning blanks were amassed for their new purpose.
